08/10/2009 - Alliance & Leicester cuts rates on remortgage deals
Alliance & Leicester has cut its remortgage deals for fixed rate deals, with rates starting from 4.28%.
The lender has reduced the rate on its two-year fixed rate remortgage deal to 4.49%, available up to 75% LTV with a £995 fee. The product is also available with a 1% fee option at 4.28%. A&L's three-year fixed rate for remortgages is now 4.99%, at up to 75% LTV and available with either a £995 or 1% fee. For home buyers the rate goes to 4.93%. A&L is also launching a three-year tracker for purchase and remortgages at 2.79%. with a maximum 70% LTV and a £995 fee.
